2024 Honda Civic vs 2023 Honda Civic

Serving Mt. Juliet, TN

The Honda Civic has been impressing drivers in the Mt. Juliet area and beyond for more than five decades, and its 11th generation launched in 2022 with a significant refresh. While minor updates were made to the 2023 version, no additional improvements have been made to the 2024 Civic. What can you expect from the latest versions of the Honda Civic?

Performance

The 2023 and 2024 Honda Civic are available in both hatchback and sedan versions, and they have the same trim levels. The lower trim levels for both years are outfitted with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter, 158-horsepower engine with a CVT. However, the Sport trim pairs this engine with a manual transmission in the hatchback body style. The top-level Civic trims have a 180-horsepower, turbo 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine with a CVT. The Touring and Sport trim levels for the hatchback body style are available with a six-speed manual transmission.

Appearance

The sporty design of the 2024 Civic is unchanged from the previous model year. Its impressive design shows off converging pinstripe accents streaming across the sides and a fastback-like profile. At the front, the lower fascia features a bold, black mesh pattern, and it is sectioned in three parts. The upper grille is thinner and curves subtly upward to connect with the headlights. These headlights have a bent LED bar for accentuation. Select Civic trim levels come with summer performance tires, up to 19-inch wheels, a moonroof, heated side mirrors, and several additional features.

Features

Across the full trim lineup for both body styles, the Honda Civic is well-appointed with features like auto climate control, a digital instrumentation cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, forward collision mitigation, a traffic sign reader, adaptive cruise control, and a few other features. The more advanced trim levels may also have a keyless ignition, a more advanced sound system, a leather-covered and heated steering wheel, leather or suede upholstery, a blind-spot warning system, a wireless charging pad, parking sensors, USB ports, and low-speed auto braking.
