Performance
The 2024 Civic has several powertrains available across the trim levels. The four-cylinder, 2.0-liter, 158-horsepower engine is in the lower trims and comes with a CVT. Mid-level Civic trims have a four-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbo, 180-horsepower engine. The most elite Civic trims have either a 200-horsepower, turbo 1.5-liter engine or a 315-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter option. The 2024 Accord, on the other hand, has two powertrains available. The first two trims feature a 192-horsepower, turbo four-cylinder system. The other Accord trims receive 204 combined horsepower from a four-cylinder hybrid engine.
Appearance
The 2024 Honda Civic is offered in a sedan and a hatchback body style, while the 2024 Accord is exclusively a sedan. The smaller Civic has an athletic look with a profile and precision-sculpted side accents. The headlights are crafted with a two-sided LED bar and a thin, black grille. The Accord has a taller, curved roofline with smooth sides and lower rocker panels. The hexagon-shaped grille is designed with horizontal accent bars—angled LED bars run across the headlights.
Features
You can use many of the same safety technologies and cabin features in the Civic and the Accord. Features offered in both models are Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a wireless internet connection, a Bose sound system, heated front and rear seats, Google voice assistance, a wireless charging pad, parking sensors, a heated and leather-covered steering wheel, driver’s side memory settings, USB-C ports, frontal collision detection, and avoidance, a dual-zone climate control system, a moonroof, and several others.
