Our team at Music City Honda is eager to share the exciting changes made between the 2022 and 2023 model years of the Pilot.
Performance
The 2023 Honda Pilot is equipped with a new 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates an impressive 285 horsepower. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It surpasses the 2022 Honda Pilot, which impressed drivers with its 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 280 horsepower paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. While front-wheel and all-wheel drive are available on the lower trims of the 2022 Pilot, the upper trims come standard with all-wheel drive. In addition, the 2023 Honda Pilot introduces up to 7 available drive modes, including new Sport, Tow, and Trail modes. The redesigned 2023 Pilot also features a TrailSport model, which includes all-terrain tires, steel skid plates, enhanced off-road suspension, and more.
Appearance
The allure of the 2023 Pilot is enhanced by its refreshed interior and exterior styling. The latest iteration boasts a larger, more prominent grille and horizontal headlights. The redesigned Pilot exudes a sportier profile and a more athletic stance. Inside the cabin, you’ll appreciate the crisp and linear design of the dashboard, complemented by a floating screen for the infotainment system and an inclined center console. In comparison, the 2022 Honda Pilot appears more conservative. Furthermore, the 2023 Pilot offers increased legroom for the second and third rows of seating.
