Performance
There are essential performance differences between the 2022 and 2023 Accords. The 2022 version’s 252-horsepower, the turbocharged gas engine is not offered in 2023. The higher trims in 2023 now receive 204 combined horsepower from a dual-motor hybrid powertrain that features a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gas engine. The lower Accord trims have a 192-horsepower turbo, 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine for both years. Across all trims for both years, a continuously variable transmission with front-wheel drive is standard.
Appearance
The 2023 Accord has been completely restyled throughout the exterior and is now 2.7 inches longer. Its new look has a fastback-style quality with smoothly contoured side panels. The hint of definition that runs down the hood leads to the redesigned grille. The black feature on the bumper sinks downward, and the points on the grille link to the thin LED headlights. Depending on the trim you select for either model year, your Accord could have black wheels, a sunroof, and heated side mirrors.
Features
The interior of the 2023 Accord has also been restyled with a flat, clean dashboard design enhanced by metallic elements. In addition, because the 2023 Accord is longer, it now gives rear passengers 40.8 inches of legroom. Some of the new features introduced in the 2023 Accord are traffic jam assist with adaptive cruise control, extended blind-spot detection, auto emergency braking with a forward-facing camera, on-air updates for the infotainment technology, voice commands, Google features, and a wireless charging pad. The other premium features available in the 2022 Accord’s trim lineup remain the same for the 2023 model year.
