2023 Honda Accord LX vs 2023 Honda Accord EX
Serving Mt. Juliet, TN
In 2023, the coveted Honda Accord released its 11th generation. This new generation’s updates include a restyled exterior, a change in powertrain options, and a few upgraded features. The trim lineup, however, remains the same. Included in the six trims are the base LX and the EX. With your attention trained on these trims, a closer look at their differences is in order.
Performance
The 2023 Honda LX continues to be outfitted with a turbo 1.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine. Front-wheel drive and a continuously variable auto transmission are standard. The 2023 Honda EX is identically equipped under the hood. Both of these trims are also equipped with a multi-link rear suspension and a front strut suspension.
Appearance
There are no significant differences on the exterior between the 2023 Honda Accord LX and EX. The new look for 2023 features a reshaped, fastback-style profile with a long, rolling hood and a sharp descent across the roofline. The upper and lower accents on the sides subtly trend toward each other to express a sense of forward momentum. The grille consumes most of the nose, and it is defined by black, horizontal bars and a thick, chrome bar at the top. The front air intakes are short and wide for an aggressive look. The headlights have also been redesigned and display a longer shape with an LED light bar winding across three sides.
Features
The base LX trim for 2023 comes with Honda Sensing® tech like lane keeping, frontal collision mitigation, and adaptive cruise control. Its other standard features include 17-inch wheels, a push-button engine starter, a four-speaker sound system, cloth upholstery, an 8-inch central display screen, Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, and a few other items. The LX adds a wireless hotspot, a sunroof, heated front seats, remote engine start, a backup camera, and several other items.
