2021 Honda HR-V LX vs 2021 Honda HR-V EX

Serving Mt. Juliet, TN

As the entry-level model in Honda’s crossover lineup, the HR-V is a small vehicle packed with appeal. With four HR-V trim levels offered for the 2021 model year, deciding on a specific crossover at Music City Honda is easier said than done. The base-level trim for 2021 is the LX, and the EX trim level takes the third position in the lineup. Throughout these popular trim options, exciting differences are available for you to explore.

Performance

Regardless of the 2021 HR-V trim level, you select, your next Honda will pull 141 horsepower from its gas-powered, inline-four engine. A sport driving mode is linked to the HR-V’s continuously variable transmission in the EX trim. In addition, all current HR-V trims are engineered with auto brake hold, anti-locking brakes, power steering, hill start assist, and other equipment that culminate to create a secure, responsive experience for you to enjoy behind the wheel.

Appearance

The twisting contours that edge up along the side doors are combined with upward curvature through the front and rear surfaces to give the HR-V individualized personality. A liftgate spoiler, three-bulb headlamps, and body molding add to the 2021 HR-V’s looks. If you prefer to drive home in the 2021 HR-V EX, your crossover will have a few extra features on the exterior. These include integrated turning signals and heat for the side mirrors, fog lamps, rear privacy glass, a single exhaust finisher, and roof-mounted rails.

Features

The HR-V continues to impress its passengers and drivers with its numerous interior features available throughout the full trim line. The modern features in all trims include illuminated controls mounted on the steering wheel, air conditioning system, power windows, cruise control, a sound system, a second-row Magic Seat, a USB port, Bluetooth connectivity, and others. At the EX trim level, you will find several extras that take the HR-V’s overall experience to a new level. These are a push-button starter, heated front seats, Honda Sensing® safety tech, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and an advanced audio system.
