Performance
Both the CR-V LX and EX are equipped with a 190-horsepower I-4 turbo engine. The engine is combined with a continuously variable transmission that comes with a sport driving mode. Notably, the EX is also available with a hybrid powertrain. If you choose the hybrid option, your CR-V EX will receive 143 horsepower from an I-4 engine linked with a battery-powered motor. The CVT transmission in the hybrid EX has deceleration selectors and a sport driving mode.
Appearance
The 2021 CR-V LX and EX have almost identical facades with only a few modest differences. This smaller Honda model has athletic touches throughout, and these elements are balanced by chrome accents, black molding, and solid personality features. The LX has two-speed wipers, power-adjusting side mirrors, a roof-mounted antenna, remote entry via the fob, and halogen headlights with auto on-off functionality explicitly. If you step up to the EX trim level, the hybrid version will have LED lights.
