What’s New for the 2023 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid?
For several decades, the midsize Accord sedan has been a pillar of Honda’s car lineup. Its continued appeal is rooted in Honda’s focus on progressively improving it. For 2023, the Accord’s top four of its six trims now have a standard hybrid powertrain. The first of these hybrid trims is the Sport. With the 2023 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid, you can use a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter, four-cylinder hybrid system that generates 204 horsepower. This efficient powertrain includes front-wheel drive and a CVT.
In addition to updating the Accord’s equipment under the hood, it displays a refreshed façade. While the 2023 Accord retains its athletic style, it now has a wide, black grille with a hexagon shape and horizontal accent bars. The short, black fascia below the grille extends across the width of the nose. In addition, the sharp headlights now have a rectangular shape and an upper LED accent bar. At the rear, the taillights are diamond-like and connected by a thick, black band that crosses the trunk lid. The bumper is styled with black molding. The Sport Hybrid trim comes with 19-inch wheels. The Accord continues to have elegant flow throughout its profile, smooth sides, and a lower rocker panel.
Inside, the 2023 Accord Sport Hybrid has a larger, 12.3-inch central display screen, and it is equipped with Google features. This trim level also has a leather-covered steering wheel and wireless connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The other standard features available in the Accord’s lower trims are also standard for the Sport Hybrid. These include an eight-speaker audio system, a dual-zone climate management system, a wireless hotspot, USB-C ports, and a digital instrument cluster. Safety technologies for all 2023 Accord trims are a front collision warning system with auto braking, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure mitigation.
